Authorities looking for robbery, assault suspect

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Authorities are looking for a man in connection with an aggravated assault at a Tucson convenience store on Friday, July 22.

Sgt. Kim Bay, spokeswoman for the Tucson Police Department, said it happened at the Circle K at 1675 N. Wilmot Road.

Bay said the suspect entered the store and assaulted the clerk after the clerk approached him. The clerk suffered fractures to his face after the suspect threw a heavy object at him, according to Bay.

The suspect had been seen stealing items from the store in the past.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call 88-CRIME.
