TUCSON, AZ - A Joey Miller two-run single in the third inning stood up for the Roswell Invaders as they beat the Tucson Saguaros 2-1 Friday night at Kino Stadium to even the Pecos League South Division Finals at a game a piece.

The Saguaros plated a run in the first inning on a two-out RBI single by Jimmy Heck but failed to push across any more the rest of the way.

Roswell pitcher Blake Oliver went seven innings, giving up only the one run despite coming into the contest with a 6.88 earned run average.

The save went to Eric Gleese who finished up the final two innings without surrendering a single hit.

In taking the loss, Tucson starter Randy Keen had a decent outing for his six innings of work.  He gave up the two runs while allowing only 5 hits but three of those 5 came in the two run third inning.

The deciding Game 3 will be played Saturday night at 7 p.m.
