TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A 21-year-old man is facing second-degree murder charges in connection with the Thursday afternoon crash on Golf Links Road that left two people dead.
Sgt. Pete Dugan, spokesman for the Tucson Police Department, said Alexander Bondy was arrested after being released from the hospital. Both speed and impairment appear to be factors in the collision, according to Dugan.

Dugan said Joel W. Cohen, 76, and Mary Jane Cohen, 77, were killed in the crash.
The accident happened around 2:40 p.m. on Golf Links near Aviation and Ajo Way.
Dugan said Bondy was speeding when he lost control of his vehicle, jumped the median and flew into oncoming traffic.
Bondy's vehicle then hit the Cohen's vehicle almost head-on. The Cohens died at the scene.
