Pima Co. Sheriff's Dept. searching for domestic violence suspect

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The Pima County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help in locating 29-year-old Mario Junior Romero, a suspect in a domestic violence case.  A felony arrest warrant has been issued for Romero for kidnapping and aggravated assault/strangulation charges.

According to a recent release the incident began on Wednesday, Aug. 3, when deputies with the Foothills District received a report of an assault in the 4500 block of North La Cholla Boulevard.  Deputies investigated and found sufficient evidence to arrest Romero on domestic violence charges.

Romero is described as a Hispanic man, 5'11" weighing 200 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and a mustache and goatee.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
