Two hurt in two separate crashes on northwest side

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Crews from Northwest Fire District responded to two different crashes on the northwest side on Monday, Sept. 5.

The first crash was reported around 4:35 p.m. Monday, after a motorcyclist crashed near Silverbell Road and Twin Peaks Road.  NWFD crews arrived at the scene to find a man in serious, but stable condition.  He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Just 15 minutes later, at 4:50 p.m. a second crash was reported, according to NWFD officials.  This time for an overturned vehicle on the westbound I-10 frontage road near Avra Valley.

According to NWFD officials crews arrived on scene to find a man being treated by Marana police officers. He was also transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The Marana Police are investigating the cause of both crashes.
