CBP arrests teen, seizes Xbox filled with meth

NOGALES, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A 16-year-old from Sonora, Mexico is in Customs and Border Protection custody after he attempted to smuggle drugs into the U.S. via an Xbox.

On Thursday, Sept. 15 CBP officers discovered three pounds of methamphetamine after a drug-sniffing canine alerted to the gaming system, according to a recent release. The teen had been trying to cross into the U.S. from the Morley Pedestrian crossing at the Nogales Port of Entry.

The drugs were seized and the teen turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations for further processing.
