Ernest Karkula was located on Thursday at Sycamore Creek near bush Highway State Route 87, according to Deputy Enriquez, Public Information Officer with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
MCSO deputies have provided first aid to Karkula and say that he will be ok.
Karkula, 92, was last seen at Lone Butte Casino. His daughter contacted police after her son, who lives with Karkula, called her and said his grandfather had not come home after being gone for awhile.
He is known to frequent the casino, so she called them and security located Karkula on the casino floor. She told Karkula on the phone that he needed to go home.
Karkula has a history of getting lost while driving to and from the casino from his house in Queen Creek.
He's previously been found in Buckeye and Sacaton.
On Wednesday around 4 p.m., the daughter contacted police and said Karkula never made it home. She had called the casino, and security told her his vehicle was no longer there. She had also called local hospitals and police departments.
She said his cell phone was dead, and that no one had heard from him.
Karkula suffers from high blood pressure and early on set of dementia.
