Silver Alert issued for missing man from Prescott

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A Silver Alert has been issued for 74-year-old Lloyd Douglas Lynd Sr, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Lynd was last seen at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27 as he left his home in the area of 5700 Market Street in Prescott Valley.  He was last seen wearing a dark blue hoodie, jeans, and suspenders, driving a 1997 white Chevrolet Silverado with Idaho plates 2CR5787.

He is described as a white man, 5'5" tall, weighing 180 pounds with white hair and brown eyes. Lynd suffers from Alzheimer's, diabetes, and has a difficult time walking.  He did not have any medication with him when he left his home.

Law enforcement believe he may be traveling in the Flagstaff area near I-40.  His last cell phone call showed him in an area east of I-40 near Potter Ranch Road.
