TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The City of Tucson Housing and Community Development department is now accepting applications for the Lead-based Paint Hazard Control and Healthy Homes Programs, according to a recent release.
The goals of these programs is improving homes and preventing lead poisoning in children, as well as helping homeowners with lead problems and keeping families healthy and safe. Tucson received a $2.9 million grant to fund the program.
