Pima Co. Sheriff's searching for hooded robbery suspects

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The Pima County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help identifying two suspects in a robbery from Sunday, Oct. 16.

According to PCSD deputies with the Foothills District responded to report of a robbery at the Circle K at 2080 West Ruthrauff Road around 1:07 a.m. Oct. 16.  When deputies arrived they learned two men entered the store and demanded cigarettes and money, while one of the suspects held a gun.

The suspects fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes.

PCSD detectives believe these are the same two suspects that robbed another convenience store in the Marana Police Department's jurisdiction on the same night.

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic man with a medium build wearing a red hat, sunglasses, a dark blue hooded sweatshirt and black pants; he was armed with a handgun.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic man with a thin build, last seen wearing a light colored hat, black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
