"We have received a complaint from a Cholla High Magnet School student alleging inappropriate conduct by a Cholla teacher," said TUSD spokeswoman Stefanie Boe" Upon receiving the complaint, we immediately launched an investigation and reported the allegations to appropriate law enforcement. Out of respect for the minor student who is involved and because this is a pending legal matter, the District can make no further comment."
The alleged incident happened at the school on Monday, Oct. 17, according to the TPD.
"The student was on campus when the adult male teacher made sexual contact with her," the TPD said in a news release. "The student reported the incident to school officials who then began an investigation."
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call 88-CRIME.
