TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The Pima County Sheriff's Department is on the lookout for two suspects wanted in connection to the theft of cigarettes at a Circle K last month.
According to PCSD deputies with the Rincon District received a call around 2 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19 about a theft at the Circle K at 11271 East Tanque Verde. They learned upon arrival that two men entered the store and stole cigarettes from behind the counter.
The first suspect is described as Hispanic, possibly in his mid-20s, 5'9" to 5'11" tall with a thin build and dark hair. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, red undershirt and black pants.
The second suspect is described as white, in his mid-20s, 5'8" to 5'10" tall with a medium build. Last seen wearing a tan/grey hat, black jacket and blue jeans.
Witnesses and surveillance video helped deputies determine that one suspect distracted the clerk, while the other hopped over the counter and loaded cigarettes into a backpack. Both suspects then ran out of the store and were seen heading westbound on Tanque Verde Road.
