Tucson police identify victim and possible vehicle in fatal hit-and-run

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Tucson police have identified the man killed in a hit-and-run collision Thursday night, Nov. 10.

Police say 59-year-old Randy W. Herzog was likely struck before 11 p.m. while crossing in or near a crosswalk in the 1100 block of West Prince Road. This is between Fairview Avenue and Flowing Wells Road near Jacobs Park.

During their investigation TPD detectives say they have found evidence on the vehicle involved in the fatal hit and run, they believe it to be a pearl black 2012 to 2015 Hyundai Elantra.

The vehicle will most likely have front end damage to the passenger side, which includes a damaged headlight and a side view mirror.
