No decision from TUSD on magnet status for schools

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The Tucson Unified School District board made no decision Tuesday night, Nov. 15, on magnet status of six district schools.

Instead, they listened to their desegregation lawyer explain information about the magnet announcement.

As for why, they're waiting to hear from the plaintiffs involved in the case before moving forward with a response.

There is a Dec. 15 deadline for responses, with a Dec. 30 deadline for the Special Master to reply.
