TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The eight surviving puppies that were found abandoned and suffering from parvovirus at Park Place Mall are almost ready for adoption.

In October, nine puppies were found in a plastic tub outside of the PAWSH pet boutique store, which is owned by the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.

According to HSSA's Facebook page, the eight survivors are now thriving after the community rallied together to help HSSA provide them the intensive medical care they needed. HSSA asked for $8,000 to help them.

PAWSH will begin accepting donation profiles Friday, Nov. 18 through Sunday, Nov. 20 for those who'd like to take one home.

Adoption profiles will only be accepted at the Park Place Mall location (5870 E. Broadway Blvd.) during regular business hours.

Eight approved adopters will be chosen at random.
