SIERRA VISTA, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Staffing shortages have caused Vista Transit to temporarily combine two routes, according to a City of Sierra Vista release.

Routes 4 and 5 will become one route, running hourly from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.  The change will go into effect on Monday, Dec. 5.

According to the release when staffing levels return to normal, all other routes will continue to run on regular schedules.

Route 4 heads north from the Transit Station and offers service to 13 stops including the Sierra Vista Public Library, Ethel H. Berger Center, and the Oscar Yrun Community Center. Route 5 heads south from the Transit Station and offers service to 11 stops including the Mall at Sierra Vista.
