TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Tucson police are searching for the suspect who shot a man on the south side late Monday night.

According to Sgt. Pete Dugan with the Tucson Police Department, police received a report of a shooting around 10:36 p.m.

The incident happened in the 6800 block of South Nogales Highway, near Aragon and Elvira roads.

The victim was shot several times, but it appears his injuries are non-life threatening.

Dugan said it also appears the victim and the suspect knew each other, and had gotten into some sort of argument.
