SILVER ALERT issued for missing Mesa woman with Alzheimer's

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The Mesa Police Department is searching for 80-year-old Joyce Hansen.  According to a recent release Hansen was last seen in the parking lot of Banner Baywood Hospital (6700 East Baywood Avenue) at 3:20 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15.

Hansen is described as a white female, with grey hair and brown eyes, 5'2" tall, weighing 205 pounds.

According to MPD she is driving a teal 2005 Chrysler Pacifica with Minnesota license plate 484GNK.  It is not known where she was headed, according to MPD there may also be a chocolate colored Labrador retriever in the vehicle with her.

She has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and has severe diminished mental capacity.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the Mesa Police Department 480-644-2211 (24 hours).
