$1,000 reward offered in San Manuel poaching case

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The Arizona Game and Fish Department is offering a $1,000 reward for information in a poaching case than happened earlier this month near Redington Road.
The AGFD said a mule deer buck was found dead off State Route 76 on Tuesday, March 7.
"Acting on a tip, wildlife officers found the 3 x 3 buck beneath a bridge over a wash in an area frequented by target shooters," the AGFD said in a news release. "The deer was intact and apparently had been shot."
A conviction on illegal taking of wildlife is punishable by up to a $750 fine and six months in jail.
