Fire destroys mobile home in Avra Valley

AVRA VALLEY (Tucson News Now) - A fire destroyed a mobile home in Avra Valley on Wednesday morning, April 5.
According to a news release from the Avra Valley Fire District, the fire happened at about 8:30 a.m. in the 16600 block of Calle Carmella.
Nobody was home at the time of the fire and no firefighters were hurt battling the fire.
It took 12 firefighters 20 minutes to extinguish the fire.
According to the release, the fire was caused by electrical problems inside the double-wide mobile home, which is a total loss.
