Person injured in shooting at southwest side park

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A person was shot Sunday night in an incident at Kennedy Park on the southwest side of Tucson, city police said.

Sgt. Kim Bay, spokeswoman for the Tucson Police Department, said the person was injured during an exchange of gun fire between two vehicles.

The person was shot in the leg and suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to Bay.
