TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A man in jail for allegedly killing his wife in Tucson late last year is now facing charges in the death of his cellmate, authorities said.
The Pima County Sheriff's Department said King Yates, 23, was arrested on first-degree murder charges on Wednesday, April 19.

The PCSD said Yates, who is in the Pima County Adult Detention Complex, killed 24-year-old Branden Geoffrey Roth.
According to a PCSD news release, Roth's body was found in his cell during a welfare check around 10 a.m. Roth had obvious signs of trauma and officers called for medical assistance, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Yates was arrested in November 2016 on first-degree murder charges in the shooting death of his wife, 24-year-old Cassandra Yates.
