UPDATE: Police identify men involved in fatal shooting at Marana shopping center

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Police identity man arrested in the shooting at a shopping center in Marana on Friday, June 30.

The Marana Police Department says 26-year-old Marcus Dickson was booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Center overnight. Dickson is charged on one count of Manslaughter.

Marana PD have identified the man who died in this incident as 40-year-old Martin Padilla.

Witnesses told Tucson News Now the shooting happened after two men got into an argument following a road rage incident around 2:07 p.m.

"They started going at it," said Marcus Wallace. "The guy in the red who is deceased, tackled him, was on top of him, and was hitting him. That's when I was like, it's getting bad. I have to go and help. That's when I heard the shots."

In a news release issued late Friday night, Marana Police confirmed that the two men were involved in a "physical confrontation just prior to the shooting." The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

MPD is requesting anyone who witnessed or has information about the shooting that happened at Arizona Pavilions and Cortaro to call 88-Crime or MPD (520-382-2000)
