UPDATE: Missing Nogales woman found safe

NOGALES, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Authorities in Nogales say a missing woman was found safe on Saturday, July 8, the morning after she went missing.
Cristina Contreras, 36, went missing from her home on West Plum Street at about 5:30 a.m. on July 7. Police say someone found her on Plum Street at 9:30 the next morning, but did not know she was the subject of a search.
She had apparently been walking around for several hours. She was medically assess for precautionary reasons and her family was updated immediately, police said.
