Storms caused power outages on the east side of Tucson Saturday that resulted in traffic lights in the area to stop working, officials said.

The traffic lights on East 22nd Street were not functioning from Pantano Road to Oak Park Drive, according to a release from the Tucson Police Department.

Police are urged drivers to avoid traveling in that area.

Power was restored roughly half an hour later.

One officer tried to provide some entertainment in the midst of an annoying situation.

TPD Officer Woodson showed off his dance moves while directing traffic during the power outage.
