UPDATE: Man struck by car in September dies from injuries

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A Tucson man who was struck by a car in September last year has died from his injuries.
According to Tucson police, 38-year-old Daniel Atzman was taken to Banner University Medical Center after the collision on South Country Club Road near East Bilby Road. The incident happened at about 5 a.m. on Sept. 26, 2017.
Atzman was not in a crosswalk when he was struck by a northbound car.
The driver pulled over and called 911. Neither speed nor alcohol were a factor in the crash, police say.
