UPDATE: I-10 reopens after fatal crash involving pedestrian near Picacho Peak

PICACHO PEAK, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The Arizona Department of Public Safety said a pedestrian was struck and killed on Interstate 10 near Picacho Peak on Tuesday, Oct. 24.

The Arizona Department of Transportation said eastbound lanes of the highway were closed. The highway has been reopened.

According to DPS, the pedestrian walked into the roadway on eastbound I-10 at Milepost 220.

No further information was immediately available.
