TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Authorities have identified the man who died in a house fire on the northwest side of Tucson Tuesday, Nov. 7.
The Pima County Sheriff's Department said Raymond Little, 69, was found inside a house in the 9800 block of North El Uno Minor., near Twin Peaks Road and Lambert Lane.
The Northwest Fire District said it received a 911 call around 7:32 p.m. about smoke coming from the home.
Crews arrived on scene, but could not see any smoke coming from the mobile home. According to NWFD, firefighters were met by a resident of the home who told them there was another person still inside.
Firefighters found Little in the home and saw a small fire in a room just inside the front door.
Little, who did not have a pulse, was taken outside and NWFD paramedics began life saving measures. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
