TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Authorities are looking for a man who allegedly kidnapped his mother on Tucson's east side Thursday afternoon.
The Tucson Police Department said Marco Herrera, 26, kidnapped his mother Concepcion Fuentes, 61, at gunpoint around 2:30 p.m.
Fuentes was located Friday morning, but the TPD is still looking for Herrera, who should be considered armed and dangerous.
The TPD said the initial incident happened at a home in the 1500 block of North Alamo Avenue.
"Herrera was involved in an altercation with his mother," the TPD said in a news release. "Multiple witnesses saw Marco point a handgun (Fuentes) and force her into a vehicle."
Herrera has been described as a Hispanic male, 5-foot-11, 160 pounds with black hair and possible mustache and goatee.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
