TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Authorities are looking for the vehicle connected to a fatal shooting on Tucson's east side Wednesday night.
The Tucson Police Department said it needs help in locating the vehicle, which has been described as a light-color sedan.
The vehicle, missing a window on the rear driver's side, may have gunshot damage.
If you see the vehicle, call 911 immediately and do not approach.
"We are particularly asking for auto-body repair shops to contact us if they come in contact with any vehicles matching this description," TPD said in a news release.
The shooting happened at the Camino Seco Village Apartments near Broadway and Camino Seco.
Sgt. Pete Dugan, a TPD spokesman, said Arturo Castillo was found on the ground of the parking lot. Officers administered first aid and CPR, but the 22-year-old Castillo died after being transported to a local hospital.
According to TPD, the vehicle pulled in to the parking lot and sat idling for a few minutes before the victim came out.
A witness reported hearing an argument between the victim and someone in the vehicle. The suspect and victim may have known each another and TPD said it believes it is not a random shooting.
The vehicle was seen speeding away from the complex after the shooting.
