TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A substitute teacher and coach at Willcox High School has been accused of sending inappropriate texts, pictures and videos to at least five female students at the school.

According to recording from the Cochise County, Jermaine Courtney Waddy was arrested at his home on Tuesday, March 6.

He is facing charges of luring a minor for sex and furnishing obscene items to minors.

An investigation began when a student reported Waddy to authorities, according to Willcox Police Chief Jose Rios.

Rios said investigators have found at least two inappropriate images and said there could be more.

Willcox Unified School District superintendent Kevin Davis said the 28-year-old Waddy was an assistant football and track coach at the school.

Davis told Tucson News Now Waddy started working at Willcox High this year.
