TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Robbery/Assault Unit detectives, with the Pima County Sheriff's Department are asking for the public's help in locating two suspects involved in a theft at a south side Circle K last month.
According to a PCSD news release, deputies responded to a call at 1:20 a.m. on Feb. 16 about a theft at the Circle K at 5818 South Palo Verde Road. When they arrived at the scene, deputies learned two suspects, a male and female had entered the store and selected several items from the shelves.
The male suspect walked up to the counter and demanded that the clerk place all the items in a plastic bag. Once the bag was full, according to the release, the man then demanded that the clerk place all the money from the drawer inside the bag as well.
Both suspects reportedly then ran from the store in an unknown direction, with an undisclosed amount of money.
The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 30s or 40s 6-foot tall with a large build, brown hair, brown eyes and short facial hair. He was last seen wearing a blue U of A hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants. According to PCSD the suspect may go by the nickname of 'Cisco'.
The second suspect is described as a Hispanic female in her 30s or 40s 5-foot tall with a large build, brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants. According to PCSD the suspect may go by the nickname 'Angel'.
