TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - It all began with a phone call to the Tucson Police Department from someone stating they had found their stolen vehicle, near a home at Park Avenue and Irvington Road.
Officers responded to the address, according to Sgt. Pete Dugan spokesman for the TPD, when several people came out of the home and confronted a man, not knowing the police department was there as well.
According to Dugan one of the people that came outside pulled out a weapon at the officers, then ran back into the house.
One of the people that ran back into the house had an outstanding warrant for another case. According to TPD that man has since been taken into custody.
