UPDATE: TPD locates missing elderly Tucson woman with dementia

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - UPDATE: Alicia Castaneda was found to be safe with family members according to the  Tucson Police Department.

The Tucson Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating 78-year-old Alicia Felix Castaneda.

She is a Hispanic female 5-foot-1 weighing 150 pounds. Castaneda was last seen wearing a long-sleeved yellow top with blue jeans.

Castaneda was diagnosed with Dementia and lives at an adult care facility in the 2900 block of E. Milber (near I-10 & Country Club). At approximately 8 a.m. Thursday morning, April 5, staff noticed she was missing from the home.

According to TPD, surveillance video shows that she walked away from the home at about 6 p.m. the previous evening, Wednesday, April 4.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
