TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Mission Road is back open Tuesday night, after a fatal crash occurred around 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 10.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department is reporting the crash involving two vehicles is now fatal.

One vehicle had an adult and an infant inside, they were both ejected from the car.  They have been taken to the hospital, according to officials, where the infant was pronounced dead and the driver is listed as critical.

Crews from the Drexel Heights Fire District assisted with the second car that was driven by a minor. According to DHFD that vehicle caught fire.
