TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - It's a good news update from Pima Animal Care Center on two dogs that were brought in in mid-March, emaciated and with severe wounds on their faces.

According to PACC an Animal Protection Officer picked up the dogs, named BlueBarry and Breezy, as strays on March 19 and brought them to the shelter. The dog BlueBarry went immediately to a foster home due to the severity of wounds to her muzzle, while Breezy recovered at PACC.

Breezy (A629350) has been up for adoption and is waiting for her 'fur'ever home, and as of April 19 BlueBarry (A629349) who has recovered, was brought back to PACC and has since been spayed and had a little dental work done. She will be available for adoption by the weekend.

Both dogs are part of the 'name your own adoption' fee event happening now through Sunday, April 22.
