TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A West Virginia company is recalling frozen treats because of a possibility they are contaminated with Listeria.
According to the FDA, the Ziegenfelder Company of Wheeling, WV, is voluntarily recalling about 3,000 cases of Budget $aver Cherry Pineapple Monster Pops and Sugar Free Twin Pops because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
The FDA is calling this a precautionary recall.

The ice pops, which are available online, were distributed to retail grocers and distributors in the states of New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Maine, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Washington and Wyoming. Product was delivered during a 15-day period from April 5 through April 19.
No injuries or illnesses have been reported.
Those who bought the ice pops should return them to the store where they purchased them to receive a full refund.
