Marana schools to serve meals during summer break
MARANA, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Students across southern Arizona are getting excited for summer break.
But for some students that can mean fewer meals.
The Marana Unified School District is set to kick off its summer food program later this month at select schools.
They'll serve breakfast and lunch to kids under 18 years old for free. They don't even have to be enrolled in a Marana Unified school.
If you'd like to take advantage of this program, you can get more information HERE.
Organizers say they expect to serve more than 18,000 meals.
