TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A collision involving a pedestrian resulted in the closure of North First Avenue between East Fort Lowell Road and East Blacklidge Drive on Wednesday morning, June 20.

According to Tucson police, the victim has serious injuries.

The driver remained at the scene, but police say alcohol appears to be a factor in this crash.

The road was reopened at about 8 a.m.

No further details were immediately available.
