TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - An excessive heat watch is in effect for parts of southern Arizona on Thursday, July 5, with temperatures ranging between 108-115 degrees.

Most of Pima and Pinal counties as well as parts of Graham and Greenlee counties will experience dangerously high temperatures.

People are advised to limit their time outdoors, stay hydrated and try to accomplish any necessary outdoor activities before 10 a.m.
