TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A man surrendered to police after hiding in a midtown house on Thursday, June 21.

According to Sgt. Pete Dugan of the Tucson Police Department, police were called to the neighborhood near North First Avenue and East Navajo Road, near East Fort Lowell Road, for a report of suspicious activity after someone saw the man allegedly trying to possibly strip or steal a car.
