TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - On Wednesday afternoon people gathered in downtown Tucson outside the Federal courthouse at Congress and Granada, to protest the recent Supreme Court decision to uphold President Trump's travel ban.

A decision that has sparked a lot of reaction from citizens and lawmakers alike, including here in Tucson.

The travel ban is in place to keep people from several predominantly Muslim countries from coming to the U.S. Many consider this wrong, as the ban seems based solely on religion and not the nationality of the people from these countries.

The crowd gathered Wednesday wanted to show their love and support for these groups.

Many were also upset because the ban has separated families.
