UPDATE: Monsoon storm causes flooding, train derailment, road closures and rescues

MONSOON: Strong storms roll through Tucson

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A strong Monsoon strong hit southern Arizona Tuesday afternoon, leading to flooding, a train derailment, road closures and several swift water rescues.

Earlier in the day, the National Weather Service in Tucson issued flash flood and dust storm warnings. All the warnings expired at 5:15 p.m.

Plenty of rain fell between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., with the highest totals -- more than half an inch -- coming on the northwest side of Tucson. You can check the totals for your neighborhood HERE.
