MARANA, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Morning commuters in Marana are encountering traffic congestion because of work related to Tuesday's train derailment and drivers should consider finding alternate routes.

According to the Marana Police Department, there is heavy traffic on Cortaro Road at I-10 because of slow-moving trains.

Drivers can use Thornydale Road to Orange Grove Road or Silverbell Road to Camino del Cerro (Ina Road is closed) to get around these problem areas.

Debris at the scene of the derailment and clean-up efforts have forced the closure of the frontage road along I-10, between Twin Peaks Road and Avra Valley Road.
