TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - One of the inmates that escaped from a prison camp last Sunday has been apprehended.
Oscar Delgado was taken into custody without incident at the D M Motel on South Craycroft Rd. around 9 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The other inmate, Oscar Estrada, is still at large.
The two inmates escaped from a federal prison camp in Pima County Sunday afternoon, according to a release from the Federal Bureau of Prison.
It stated the two men were discovered missing at approximately 3:40 in the afternoon.
The minimum security facility, which is located on South Wilmot Road, currently houses 140 men, according to the release.
Both escaped inmates are believed to have walked away from the facility.
One was identified as Oscar Delgado, 32. The Bureau of Prisons described Delgado as white with brown hair and brown eyes. He's roughly 5-foot-11 and 205 pounds. He was sentenced to eight years for drug charges in North Dakota.
The other inmate was identified as Oscar Estrada, 40. The BOP described Estrada as white with brown hair and blue eyes. He's about 5-foot-7 tall and weighs roughly 175 pounds. BOP's release states that he was sentenced to more than five years for marijuana charges in Ohio.
The U.S. Marshals Service and other law enforcement agencies have been notified of their escape. BOP stated that an internal investigation is underway, as well.
