FBI searching for suspects in casino robbery



PAYSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of suspects in a casino robbery in Payson, AZ.
According to an FBI news release the robbery took place on Tuesday, July 17 at 12:25 a.m. when two males wearing hoods, masks and dressed completely in black entered the Mazatzal Casino at mile marker 251 on Highway 87 on the Tonto Apache Indian Reservation.
The suspects were armed with a long gun and pistols, fired rounds inside the casino and threatened employees. The suspects then left with an undisclosed amount of money. According to the news release, the suspects crossed Highway 87 to a waiting vehicle.
No one was injured, according to the release.
The suspects are both described as 5-foot-10 with average builds and should be considered armed and dangerous.
