TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Six horses and a donkey have a new temporary home, after they were rescued on Friday, from a mobile home near Three Points, southwest of Tucson.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department said they were called to the home because of a report of horses in distress.

Tucson News Now's cameras were rolling as the PCSD vehicles arrived at the driveway just before noon.

It was a struggle, but workers from Wild Hearts Rescue Ranch were able to get the horses in a trailer.

We were able to track down the group and meet up with Jessica Gray, who said on a scale from 1 to 5, 5 being the best, these horses were a 1 or 2.
