TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Tucson police have arrested the suspect in the June stabbing death of Leroy Calvillo.
According to a Tucson Police Department news release, 22-year-old Niger Noriega was arrested on Tuesday, July 24. He was already in custody in the Pima County Jail on unrelated charges.
Noriega has been charged with one count of second-degree murder in relation to Calvillo's death.
51-year-old Leroy Perez Calvillo was found on June 16. He was in the middle of the road in the 200 block of W. Delano Street suffering from multiple stab wounds to his body, officers said. He later died at Banner University Medical Center.
