Tucson police: Help identify a bank robbery suspect

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The public is asked to assist the Tucson Police Department in identifying the suspect in the robbery of the U.S. Bank at 2140 West Grant Road.

The suspect is described as either a white or Hispanic male, from 25 to 35 years of age, 6-foot tall with a thin build. He was wearing a tan fisherman hat and an orange t-shirt.

According to TPD the robbery happened just before 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 31 when the suspect entered the bank and demanded money from the teller. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and then fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

No one was injured during the robbery, according to TPD. Officers searched the area but were not able to locate the suspect.
