COCHISE COUNTY, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Bones and pieces of clothing were found during a search in the Chiricahua Mountains earlier this week.
The search was launched after two human bones were found in the Rustler Park area last week, around Aug. 8 and 9.
Carol Capas, Public Information Officers for the Cochise County Sheriff's Office, said the Search and Rescue Team found a "few more bone fragments and small items of cloth/clothing" during the search of the area.
Capas said the items have been submitted to the Pima County Medical Examiner for testing.
There is no information regarding how long the bones had been there or if the bones and clothing are linked at this time.
